If you know me at all, you’ll know that there’s a few things I really like in life: LEGO, Irn Bru and the Internet. It’s probably just as well that my career focuses around the latter or my existence on this bizarre planet would be super boring. Which is why a decision I made a few weeks ago was a ridiculously tough one.
I am leaving schuh.
And I’m the last of this lot to leave.
After two and a half years of looking after this awesome company’s social media, I decided that it was time to leave and try doing something a wee bit different. Alright, so it’s not -that- different but I’m going to the dark side. I am leaving the client world behind (where I get to be the demanding person who throws strops when stuff doesn’t go my way) and hopping over to the frankly terrifying world of the agency. That being said, I’m stupidly excited.
Oh, and that means that not only will there be a super smashing job up for grabs but also that elusive schuh Foursquare mayorship which I’ve been hogging since I walked through the door. Whoever ends up with either – look after them/it.
So as of the end of March, I will be bowing out of the company. Adios – it’s been bloody amazing and thanks for the fucking awesome ride.
